Hardin Planetarium 


At the Hardin Planetarium, you’ll be able to learn about different planets in our solar system, stars forming in distant galaxies, and what modern researchers are doing to understand it all. Free shows happen every Tuesday and Thursday at 7PM, and Sunday at 2PM. You can lay back and watch a show to find stars hidden in plain sight.


Weldon Peete Park


The outdoorsman’s paradise is located right here in Bowling Green. Weldon Peete Park offers miles of walking and biking trails, perfect picnicking nooks, and boating ramps for avid fishermen to hone their skills. Located in the heart of town, it makes for an ideal location for outdoor recreation after shopping in the downtown area or touring the campus.


It’s a great place to test your mountain biking skills and courage, while still offering gorgeous scenery for guests wanting a more casual ride.

Bowling Green has a ton of different museums that encapsulate some aspect of its history, including the Aviation Heritage Park, the Historic Railpark where you can ride trains, and the Riverview at Hobson Grove, an old house that was commandeered by the Confederacy during the Civil War.
