Off-roading has become a favorite activity amongst our guests and Kentucky's landscape is one of the best places to kick up some dirt and get your jeans dirty. While nearby Mammoth National Park offers a quiet day of trail walking underground, off-roading with a Jeep or ATV is perfect to get your blood pumping and see the sights.
Many of these options don't require you to own an ATV/UTV or Jeep and rentals are a common option! Whether you need help planning the specifics of your Jeep tour or just want to browse the highlights, this guide will take you in the right direction. When you're done playing in the mud, check out our other resources to keep the fun going in our neck of the woods!
There are two main off-road parks in the area that give you 24-hour access to the forest surrounding Mammoth Cave National Park. These two options are Blue Holler Offroad Park and B&J Offroad Park.
Both have unique strengths and might warrant a visit for different reasons so read on to learn more about each experience.
Perfect for riders of all ages and skill levels, Blue Holler will leave you squealing with delight as you cruise past trees, down hills, up rocks and more. The coolest feature of the park is the large sand cave, referred to as the Navajo Cave. The cave adds a bit of subterranean flair to this extraordinary off-road experience.
